What to expect in your Tutoring Session Each session is one hour long Most sessions are one-on-one. Some courses may be tutored in groups. A day and time is scheduled for you and your tutor to meet each week Every tutor is accountable for showing up to the session. If a tutor must miss a session, then the student is notified as soon as possible. If possible a make up session will be scheduled. Students are required to show up to each scheduled session. If you will not be able to attend, then you must notify the office. After two no shows, then you may be dropped from the tutoring program. Students need to come prepared with questions for the tutor. Do not feel embarrassed about asking questions. Please bring your books and class notes to the session.
