On-Campus Employment Opportunities

ABAC offers students the opportunity to gain valuable work experience, while working around their class schedule, through the Regular and Work-Study Programs on campus.  Students are referred to on-campus jobs by the Job Placement Counselor at the beginning of each semester.  Students must also be enrolled in at least six semester hours to qualify for these programs.  However, before a student can be referred, they are required to show a picture ID and proof of their social security card* as well as complete all forms located at www.abac.edu/jobplacement/jporientation/.

Students may visit the Human Resources/Job Placement Office on the 3rd floor of the Branch Student Center to inquire about available jobs on the ABAC campus.  All paperwork must be turned in at that time.

*A copy of the original social security card or the original card is needed to complete the required paperwork.  Unfortunately, ABAC CANNOT accept a receipt from the Social Security Office as a replacement for lost cards.  There are no exceptions!  If you do not know where your Social Security Card is, or have not obtained one, please visit your community's local Social Security Office and request one.  It will take approximately ten working days to receive your new card and there is no cost associated with this request.
