Financial Aid Checklist



HAVE YOU:

  1. Completed and submitted the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Renewal FAFSA?


  2. Received via email an electronic Student Aid Report (SAR) from the Federal Processor?

    • Is the SAR complete and correct?


      • If No, make corrections online at the FAFSA web site. Make certain your corrections are submitted with the appropriate PIN numbers.
      • If your paper SAR is correct, your information will be received electronically from the U.S. Department of Education, as long as ABAC was included on your application as one of your college choices.
  3. Received a Verification Worksheet from the OFA?

    • If yes, have you completed the Verification Worksheet and submitted it with requested tax documents to the OFA?
  4. If you are a transfer student, has the Enrollment Services Office received official transcripts form ALL previous colleges attended?


  5. Received an Award Letter?


  6. If needed:
  • Completed and returned an ABAC Federal Stafford Loan and/or Parent PLUS Loan Application
