ANNOUNCEMENT OF POSITION VACANCY

 

Position Title:             Coordinator of Student Services

 

Description:               

This full time, twelve month position reports to the Director of Enrollment Services.  This position is responsible for:

 

·         Providing leadership and supervision to mentors and admissions counselors in coaching students through the successful completion of their academic career at ABAC.

·         Creating innovations and improvements in programming, communications, technical support, and other areas related to the delivery of services which exceed expectations to prospective students, current students, parents, and other constituencies.

 

Qualifications:              Candidate must be a self-starter who is capable of excelling in a goal-oriented environment.  Bachelor’s degree is required; master’s degree preferred.  Academic experience is desirable.  A successful candidate must have a commitment to the design and delivery of outstanding customer service. Other important qualifications include strong leadership skills, problem solving skills, and thorough understanding of enrollment services and their importance to students’ successful academic careers. 

 

Salary:                               Commensurate with education and experience

Location:                           Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC), a four-year state college located in Tifton, Georgia, offers an array of majors, including a bachelor of art or a bachelor of science in rural studies, two four-year bachelor of applied science programs, 41 college transfer programs, and 14 two-year career technology majors.
